Welcome and Introductions: Bekki Bock, President
Bekki thanked everyone for attending and making our 3rd year in Atlantic City as much a success as the previous years. She introduced and thanked the following for all their hard work.

Secretary’s Report: Joyce Zimmerman
Copies of the minutes were distributed to everyone for review. J. Bingales motioned to accept the minutes. T. Rubel seconded. All voted and the minutes were accepted.
Treasurer’s Report: Janet Bingales
Copies of the treasurer’s report were distributed to everyone for review. Carrie Niler motioned to accept the report and Bekki Bock seconded the motion. All voted to accept the report.
Special Presentations: Mark Wallenberger President-Elect SNM-TS.
Mark filled in for David Gilmore, President, Tech Section SNM who had taken ill, gave the membership an update where the Society of Nuclear Medicine is heading.
Advanced Practitioner program. The Board has met with the ACR at the RSNA to discuss name changes – Nuclear Medicine Advanced Associate. The SNM Board is to review and vote on the name.
Monday, March 10, Mark and others from the SNM will be in attendance on Capital Hill to speak about the CARE bill.
Mark spoke regarding his preparation for his term as President. He congratulated the GNYCSNM-TS for strong attendance at the meeting. He continued to recognize two of our chapter leaders for stepping up to serve as committee chairs:

President’s Report: Bekki Bock
Bekki reviewed the VOICE crediting process. The cooperation of the attendees makes it as easy and painless as possible. She continued with a discussion regarding the addition of PayPal to our Website. This link was used by many to pay for their registration for the meeting.
Bekki thanked the attendees, students and committee for making the program a success. She invited all to take part in the society and join committees or the Executive Board.
National Council Delegates Report: Ted Rubel
Reviewed what does go on in the National Council with the attendees. Ted recommended participation in your profession by joining the section council meetings.
The NMTCB-NCT testing will be scheduled online rather than once a year. Watch for more information. Review program proposed for Annual Meeting.
Advocacy – Local/State/National groups see you as the expert. Offer your assistance to broaden the scope of our practice by educating those that need our services.

There are over 1,800 members in the GNYC-TS, which is currently the third largest chapter.

Bekki then thanked Janet Bingales who organized Registration and her helpers XXXX and XXXX for their hard work with registration. She also thanked Michele Egberts as Scientific Program Chair for putting together such a successful program; Nancy Price as the Exhibitors chair; Steve Kantor and Liz for the student presentations and Myrellen for her help with the VOICE Forms; and all the other people who helped and got involved.
